OBITUARY Concepcion Garza May 13, 1920 – August 12, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Concepcion Garza went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 98. She was born on May 13, 1920 to Silvestre Lira, Sr. and Margarita Solis Lira in Laredo, Texas. Concepcion was a housewife.

Concepcion is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Guadalupe Guevara, Sr., Pedro Gonzalez and Roberto Garza; siblings, Petra Gonzalez, Benito Lira, Silvestre Lira, Jr., Juanita Lira, Refugia Martinez, Martha Vasquez and Guadalupe Gonzalez Lira and grandsons, Juan, David, Diego and Julian Diaz, Jr She is survived by her four sons, Guadalupe (Verna+) Guevara, Jr. of Sawmill, Arizona, Rafael (Clara) Gonzalez of San Antonio, Juan (Maria) Gonzalez, Sr. of San Antonio and Ricardo (Martha) Gonzalez, Sr. of Laredo, Texas; four daughters, Norma (Julian+) Diaz of Laredo, Graciela (Georg) Gonzalez of Missouri City, Texas, Rebecca (Sigifredo) Melo of San Antonio and Teresa Gonzalez Trevino of San Antonio; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Steven M. Gonzalez, Juan M. Gonzalez, Jr., Daniel Gonzalez, Estevan Gonzalez, Ricardo Gonzalez, Jr. and Albert Guevara.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Huerta, Jessie Huerta, Luis Daniel Silva and Joseph Silva. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bruni. Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City.
