Obituary for Retired Chief Justice P. Harris Hines Retired Chief Justice P. Harris Hines, 75, of Marietta passed away on November 4, 2018. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in Marietta with Rev. Joe Evans, Rev.

Joe Brice and Dr. Jim Speed officiating. Harris is survived by his loving wife, Helen Hill Hines of Marietta; daughter, Mary Margaret Doyle and husband, Clem, of Marietta; son, James Harris “Hap” Hines and wife, Kelly, of Newnan; four grandchildren, Harris Clay Doyle, Charles Hines Doyle, Edith Anne Hines and Preston Harris Hines, II. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12th in the Historic Sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta.

The family requests no flowers but donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Marietta Mission Council, 189 Church Street Marietta, Ga. 30060 or Must Ministries, P.O. Box 1717 Marietta, Ga. 30061 in honor of Chief Justice Ret.
