Rev. Charles K. Mayfield, 87, of Shelburn, Indiana passed way Wednesday April 18, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor. He was born in Linton, Indiana on August 15, 1930 the son of Joe R. Mayfield and Wilmina Stone Mayfield.

He was a member of the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana. Charles retired from ministry after several years. He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Helen McAnally, brother, Everett Lee Mayfield and one grandson, Matthew Aaron McCandless.

Survivors include two daughters; Carol (Merle) Mallory of Oklahoma and Marie (Ron) Beckstrom of Georgia, brother, Eugene (Brenda) Mayfield of Terre Haute, Indiana, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev.

Steve Blades officiating. Interment will follow in Nyes Chapel Cemetery in Farmersburg, Indiana. Vitiation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Brust Funeral Home.
