Clara J. Jones, 88, of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor. She was born on October 12, 1929 in Carlisle, Indiana the daughter of Clarence and Geneva (Cowling) Keys. Clara married Curran Jones in June 1953.

She was a beautician for several years. Clara was member of the Sullivan Presbyterian Church, Theta Delta Psi Otes Woman’s Club and Sullivan Elks BPO 911. She loved to travel and had traveled from Alaska to the Panama Canal.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents, husband Curran Jones and sister, Mary Jean James. Survivors include two sons; David Jones of Terre Haute, Indiana and Jeff Jones, one daughter, Melinda Leahy of Monterey, California, four grandchildren; Fallon, Sedina, Jacqueline and Elizabeth and five great-grandchildren. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date and burial at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan, Indiana.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
