William “Bill” Homer Crooks, 62, of Graysville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. He was born on October 29, 1955 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Lester A. and Barbara J. “Pheobe” (Gilham) Crooks. Bill was a coalminer for 20 years and then a truck driver.

Trucking was his passion and he loved riding his motorcycle Snowball. He was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #2459 and Odd Fellows. Bill attended Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, Indiana.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Tabitha (Miguel) Hernandez of Carmel, Indiana, brother, Dave (Shelley) Crooks of Brazil, Indiana, sister, Pamela (Bill) Hagemeier of Graysville, Indiana, niece, Mackenzie Leigh Crooks and two nephews; Norman Lee Nation and Jared David Crooks. A celebration of life will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 28, 2018 at Sullivan VFW Post #2459.

Interment will be held at a later date at Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, Indiana. Arrangements were entrusted to Brust Funeral Home.
