The Rev. Warren Dean Wenger, 96, of Taneytown, MD went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2018. He passed away in Ohio while traveling with his family.

Born December 27, 1921, he was the son of the late Frederick and Evangeline (Price) Wenger. He was the devoted husband of Doris (Roberts) Wenger, to whom he was married for 73 years. Rev.

Wenger, along with his wife Doris, was a missionary to the people of Nicaragua, Central America for 20 years. He also served as pastor to several congregations in the northeast region of the United States for 20 years. Surviving, in addition to his beloved wife Doris, are his 4 children, Lola Null and husband Ed Null, Jr. of Taneytown, Miriam Tumielewicz and husband Robert of New Brunswick, NJ, Warren Wenger, Jr. and wife Cheryl of Philadelphia, PA, and Rebecca Bennett and husband Alfred of Plant City, FL; sister, Evalyn Dexter of Burke, VA; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Graceham Moravian Church, 8321A Rocky Ridge Rd. , Thurmont, MD with the Rev. Sue Koenig officiating.

Burial will follow in Graceham Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Board of World Missions, 1021 Center St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
