Obituary of Reynold “Bud” Turner Reynold “Bud” Turner 1944 – 2019 New York Mills Bud Turner, 74 passed away on Tuesday morning, January 15, 2019 at Faxton – St. Luke’s Healthcare surrounded by his loving family, after a month long, hard fought battle with an illness. He was born on April 4, 1944 in Gray, NY the son of Reynold and Phillipa Turner and attended Utica Schools. He proudly served his country with the US Army during the Vietnam Era.

On July 27, 1979 he was united in marriage to Carol Cass for twenty – nine beautiful years until her passing in 2008. Bud worked numerous jobs throughout his lifetime; he was truly the “Jack of all trades”. Bud was the rock of the family.

He was loved by every member of his family for his love and acceptance for all. Bud was the funniest man we knew. He had some of the most “corniest”, as we call them as well as the best jokes and sayings.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Bud was the best husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons and daughters, James Fyfe, Sr., Richard Fyfe, Scott Fyte, Henry Turner, Dennis Turner Sr. and daughter –in- law, Kari Turner, Beth Turner and Marlon Sims, Christy Lindsay and Robin Turner. Also surviving are his grand children, James, Jr., Stephanie, Jacob, Dennis, Jr., Keiarah and Kaiya, as well as his brothers and sisters, Firth, Craig, Pam, Hope, William, Frank, Claire and Chris, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Reynold Turner, Jr., granddaughter, Jaclyn Fyfe, as well as his sister, Elizabeth Crandall and brother, Keith Turner.

The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to the all of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Luke’s ICU unit for all of their compassion and care shown to Bud and his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services which will be held on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 1156 Lincoln Ave. , Utica.

Those who wish may call from 4 – 6 p.m. prior to the service. Burial at the convenience of the family will take place in New Forest Cemetery. Light a Candle at: www.
