Felski, 73, of Amsterdam, New York passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 5, 1945 in Amsterdam, New York a son of the late Bernard and Josephine Lipiankewicz Felski. He was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School and later Albany Business College.

Richard served in the United States Air Force. For over 44 years, Mr. Felski was employed by the General Electric Company in the Large Steam Turbine-Generator Department and Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory retiring in 2009. He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and the GE Quarter Century Club.

He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and watching airplanes in flight. Survivors include his sisters Sheila Koziomkowski, Spokane, Washington and Cheryl (David) Slezak, Amsterdam, New York; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:15 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at Historic St. Mary’s Church, 156 E. Main Street, Amsterdam, New York with Rev.

Jeffrey L’Arche, Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fort Johnson, New York. There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Richard’s favorite charities: the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, the National Rifle Association or to Montgomery County SPCA. Please submit on-line condolences at www. jendrzejczakfuneral.com.
