Richard D. Ryan October 14, 1941 – February 16, 2019 SOUTH BEND – Richard D. Ryan, 77, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his home. Richard was born on October 14, 1941 in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan. Richard proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He was a truck driver for the former Preston Trucking Company for over 37 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 284 on Grant Road in South Bend, where he enjoyed meeting with friends. Richard is survived by his wife, Donna (Weaver) Ryan of Berrien Springs, MI; step-daughter, Stacia Weaver of South Bend; step-son, Wesley Weaver of Berrien Springs, MI; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
