Daniel L. Welde, 77, of Woodridge Assisted Living (South Bend, IN), passed away on February 12th at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. Dan was born March 17th, 1941 to Maryan and Harold Welde. He married Judy Dinges on July 21st, 1973 in South Bend.

He is a graduate of St. Joseph High School (South Bend) and Lewis University. He retired from Bendix(Allied Signal) in 1994 and then worked after retirement at H&R Block and Erskine and Eberhart golf courses. He was a longtime member of Morris Park Country Club and an avid golfer for most of his life.

He was active with his high school class reunion committee and enjoyed monthly lunches with several members of his class. He was a lifelong Notre Dame fan. Dan is preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife.

He is survived by his daughter Karey Circosta, her husband Nic, and his grandson, Dominic. Memorial Mass for Daniel will be held at 11:30 am, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at St. Joseph Church, 226 N. Hill St., South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services at the church.
