Mr. Donald R. Harman, 75, passed away peacefully at his home in South Bend, IN on the afternoon of Saturday, February 2, 2019, surrounded by his family. Donald (Don) was born on June 26, 1943 in Kosciusko County. Don spent the first part of his life in North Webster, IN, moving to South Bend in 1964.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and watching his Westerns. Don also enjoyed cooking, baking and going to all of his grandkids baseball and football games.

He was a supportive and kind-hearted father and grandfather. He was always a phone call away to answer any question or to come help change a tire or unclog a bathtub. In Don’s early years, when his kids were kids, he did a lot of volunteering at Chet Wagner Little League.

Don was always a helpful man, from helping serve food at the Angel of Hope benefit or serving Thanksgiving dinner at the Keith Giden Youth Center. Don was always helping out at fundraisers, no matter if it had to do with the grandkids stuff for school or selling raffle tickets for a big drawing. Don was also an active member of T.O.P.S.
