Richard L. Heddleson Age 81, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday Sept. 4, 2018, and he went home to meet the Lord. He was born Nov.

29, 1936 in Canton, a son of the late Leland and Tina (McKelly) Heddleson, and was a life resident of this area. Richard was a 1954 graduate of McKinley High School. He was retired from Giant Eagle and previously worked at Superior Brand Meats.

Richard was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society and sang in the Hall of Fame Chorus 30 years and with the Barbershop Quartet QT for many years. He also sang in the Chorus of The Keys in the Sarasota-Bradenton, Florida area when he lived there part of the year. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Heddleson, on Jan.

9, 2010 and a sister Judy Campisi in 2009. He is survived by his daughter, Lynn Heddleson, his son, Richard L. (Margaret) Heddleson, Jr; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren, Joel McGraw and his children, Dillan and Alyssa, Aaron (Lenna) McGraw, Nathan (Patricia) McGraw and their children, Ethan and Grace, Stephen (fiancée Heather Conrad) McGraw, and Elaina (Jay) Spencer. According to Richard’s wishes he will be cremated and there will be no calling hours or services.
