Richard Isaac Hughes age 77, passed away October 3, 2018 in Painesville, Ohio. He was born April 8, 1941 in Beaverdale, Pennsylvania to the late Simeon, Sr. and Jessie (nee Boughamer). Richard married Pamela (nee Polgar) on October 18, 1991 in Kirtland, Ohio.

Richard worked at Parker Hannifan and LAM-a-SHIELD, before retiring from Hanlon Industries in 2003. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, but especially loved to fish. Most of all, Richard loved his wife and family.

Richard… Read More » is survived by his wife, Pamela; step daughter, Amanda (Mark); grandchildren, William “Bill” (Amanda), and Annelee “Maggie”; great grandchildren, Aleigha Rose, and Lyra Jade; sisters, Naomi, Claudia (John), Sarah (Gary); brothers, John (Yvonne), and James (Jeannie). Preceded in death by his parents, Simeon, Sr. and Jessie; sisters, Elizabeth, Helen, and Sueanna; brothers, Simeon, Jr., and Thomas (Richard’s twin). A memorial visitation and service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 11 AM – 3 PM at Fowlers Mills Christian Church, 10755 Mayfield Rd.
