Richard K. Hudnut, 84, of West Salem, died Monday, May 21, 2018 at University Hospital Samaritan Medical Center. Richard was born April 7, 1934 in Ashland, Ohio to Delno and Ruth {Snowbarger} Hudnut. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

He married Cynthia Elliott. Richard retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation after 34 years. He was a member of the VFW, Moose and the Masonic Lodge.

Richard will be deeply missed by children Priscilla (Bob) Dutton of Ashland, Brenda (Chris) Vozar of West Salem, Richard K. Hudnut II of Ashland; Step-Children Leah Greg, Dana (Doug) Clark, Jeri Ann (John) Blackford, Katie (Richard) Welch; grandchildren Tonya, Travis, Kristopher, Kylie; 10 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren.
