Lovins, son of the late Richard Lovins and Helen Louise (Wells) Lovins was born March 18, 1953 in St.Louis, Missouri and departed this life on February 22, 2019 at the age of 65 years. Richard married Jane Restoff on November 30, 1974 in Cahokia, Illinois. Survivors include: His wife: Jane Lovins of Bragg City, Missouri Two son: Benjamin Lovins of Knobel, Arkansas Jay B. Lovins of Bragg City, Missouri Ten grandchildren and one great grandchild Three brothers: Jimmy D. Lovins of Colony, Texas Roger Lovins of E. St. Louis, Illinois Paul Lovins of Mt Vernon, Illinois Three sisters: Glenda Myers of Cahokia, Illinois Barbara Kyle of East Carondelet, Illinois Brenda C. Lovins of Belleville, Illinois All those who called him Dad or Pop.

. Richard was preceded in death by one son: Vincent Lovins and three brothers: Tommy Lee, Bobby G. and Donald G. Lovins. Richard was of Bragg City, Missouri and served his country in the United States Army.
