Richard “Rick” G. Piehl, age 70, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. He was born on December 26, 1947 in Fond du Lac, WI to the late John and Marion (Supernand) Piehl. Richard graduated from Preble High School and Southern Colorado State College.

He served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1967 until 1969. Richard was employed by Green Bay Packaging from August 1971 until his retirement in January 2010. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, spending time up north, watching movies and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Rick (Tracy) Piehl, Alyssa (Michael) Huebner, Matt (Tammy) Piehl, Chrissy (John Meurer) Piehl and Dan Piehl; grandchildren, Abbie Piehl and Mitch Meurer; as well as other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John L (Jack) Piehl and Thomas Piehl. Visitation will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue, from 4:00 pm until the funeral service at 6:30 pm.
