Obituary for Mr. David H. Badeau David H. Badeau, Jr., 85, Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, with his family by his side. David was born on December 29, 1932 in Green Bay, the son of the now late David and Helen (Jolly) Badeau, Sr He was a graduate of Green Bay East High School Class of 1953 and then completed his apprenticeship to become a journeyman bricklayer and stone mason.

On September 4, 1954, he married the former Nancy Van Erem at St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church. David was employed with Geo M. Hougard & Sons and Selmer Construction for many years. In the later years, he worked for the Green Bay Correctional Institution, first in facility repairs then as an Instructor for their Masonry Program.

David was very involved in the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Labor Union for years, including serving on the apprenticeship committee. David loved spending time with his family canoeing, camping and going for Sunday drives. He and Nancy enjoyed creating family memories that are still cherished today.

David liked being involved in his kids’ lives and was proud to be an Assistant Scout Master. In his retirement, he enjoyed amateur blacksmithing and sharing his interests with his grandchildren. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and a friend to many and will always be lovingly remembered and sorrowfully missed.

David is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, 4 daughters: Sue Badeau and her close friend Gordon Johnson, Amy Golembeski and her husband Bill, Julie Lovering-Molzhan and her husband Mike Molzhan, Abby Seroogy and her husband Paul, one son, Kurt Badeau and his wife Nicole, 10 grandchildren, a great-grandson and a sister-in-law, Sharon Badeau. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jeff Lovering, a granddaughter, Alexandria and his brother, Bob Badeau Sr. Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. on Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. Phillip the Apostle Catholic Church, 312 Victoria Street.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. William Hoffman officiating. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
