Gerald “Jerry” Krausert June 27, 1935 – December 28, 2018 Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Gerald Herman ‘Jerry’ Krausert, 83, Green Bay, passed away on December 28, 2018. The son of the late John ‘Herman’ and Catherine (Van Ark) Krausert was born on June 27, 1935. Jerry was a graduate of Central High School (now Notre Dame) Class of 1954.

On July 4, 1955 he was married to the former Lorraine Chaudoir. She preceded him in death in 2003. Professionally, Jerry was a Millwright at James River for over 40 years before retiring in 1997.

He then went on to be a Crossing Guard by Elmore School. Jerry held memberships in the Moose – Lodge #801, Elks – Lodge #259, and the Knights of Columbus – Fort Howard Council #5382. He was a very active parishioner of St. Jude Catholic Church where he ushered and was President of the Athletic Club for many years.

Jerry enjoyed spending time up north, his animals, and watching the Packers. Jerry is survived by his children, Jonathan (Kathy Westbrook) Krausert, Kitty (Max Sykalski) Krausert, Ken (Sue) Krausert, Jerry (Joy) Krausert, Ann (Greg) Kostrewa; grandchildren, Amanda, Ben, Lewis (Emily), Lee (Kelli), Rebecca, Jacob, Michael, Zachariah, Tyler (Kim), Nicole (Jake), Stephanie, Christopher (Theresa), Courteney, Carina, Cameron, Isabella, Isaac, Jada, Katelyn, Lucas, Maxwell; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Ann (Dick) Kasper, Jim (Alice Huebscher) Krausert, Bob (Debbie) Krausert; son in law, Mark Buettner; daughter in law, Mindey Krausert; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Bill Krausert; a daughter, Lorilynn Buettner; a sister, Karen (Roger) Schuh; and a sister in law, Brenda Krausert. Friends may call at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1420 Division St., Green Bay, on Saturday from 9-11am.
