St. Johnsbury, VT: Richard L. Spooner, age 66, of Lafayette Street, died at his home following a long decline in health on Saturday, November 17, 2018. Richard was born in New London, NH, on June 7, 1952, son to the late Richard Spooner and Mary Rose (Hall). Ricky grew up in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.

He has lived in the St. Johnsbury are for many years, was a “Jack of all Trades”, enjoyed working with his hands and would do anything for anyone in need. Ricky enjoyed camping, swimming and the company of family and friends. He is survived by his pet KitCat, 3 sisters: Cora Undt of VT, Rose Witham and husband, Murray, of Northwood, NH, Mary Etta Pease DiPetro and husband, John, of Vershire, VT, and a brother: William Spooner of Concord, NH, and his good friends and caregivers at the end: Amber Lebreque and Garret Southworth of St. Johnsbury and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister: Elaine. A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Saturday December 1, 2018, at the Mustard Seed Soup Kitchen, 166 Eastern Avenue in St. Johnsbury with Pastor Jeff Pearson officiating. All are welcome.
