Robert (Bob) Doran June 16, 1935 – January 15, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card On Tuesday, January 15, Robert (Bob) Doran, loving husband and father, passed away at age 83 surrounded by his family. Bob was born June 16, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN to Paul and Myrtle Doran. He entered the United States Marine Corps in 1953 and served during the Korean War.

He worked for Braniff Airlines where he met Marlene Johnson. On June 6, 1959 they were married in Cloquet, MN. They lived in Richfield, MN and Monticello, MN where he worked for Rogers Hydraulics, Honeywell, Northern States Power (Excel Energy) and raised three children: Jeff (Wendy), Michael (Shandra) and Andrea, six grandchildren, Michael, Erin, Christopher, Emily, Rachel and Brady, and two great granddaughters, Mychaela and Ayda.

He is survived by sister Mary Jo Nuquist and brother David Doran. Bob and Marlene retired to Bella Vista in 1995 where they enjoyed adventures around the world and volunteering in their church and community. A memorial service will be held at 2p.m. on Saturday, January 19th at United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Rd, Bella Vista, AR 72715.
