Mr. Robert K. (Bob) Siscoe, age 95, passed away on May 14, 2019 at Sanctuary at the Oaks. Bob was born on February 11, 1924 in Muskegon, Michigan to Warren and Ethel (Green) Siscoe. Bob married Donna (Peterson) Siscoe on September 7, 1943 and they enjoyed 62 wonderful years together until she preceded him in death in 2005.

He was a long-time fixture on Getty Street as the owner of Bob Siscoe Auto Sales, Bob Siscoe Recreational Sales, E-Z Livin’ Fun Sales and Bob Siscoe Car Rental. Bob and Donna spent many winters at their home in Lakeland, Florida where he was a Detroit Tigers Spring Training season ticket holder for 35 years. Bob enjoyed traveling and cruising with family and friends across the US and around the world.

He enjoyed both hunting (even without his gun), playing cards and snowmobiling at the “tin can condo” in Luther. Bob also loved fishing in Lake Michigan; and golfing on leagues and with family, friends and the “grasshoppers”. Bob was very active in the Reeths-Puffer school district, where as a previous member of the school board he was involved in the consolidation of several small, independent schools into the current Reeths-Puffer School District.

He was the voice of the Reeths-Puffer Football team for many years and always remained a “Rocket” fan. He was a charter member of Unity United Methodist Church, Lincoln Golf Course, Imperial Lakes Country Club (Lakeland, FL), Muskegon Elks and Goodfellows. Some of Bob’s greatest gifts included his generosity, the inspiring influence he had on many lives and his never-ending positive attitude.

Bob is survived by his children: John (Karen) of Plant City, FL, Cheryl Siscoe, Vicki Hallberg and Linda Siscoe of Muskegon. Grandchildren include Stephanie Siscoe (Eric Becker) of Dover, FL; Jeff (Laura) Long of Muskegon, Greg Long of Atlanta, IN; Brett (Kim) Hallberg of Muskegon; Traci Hallberg of Muskegon; and Ryan (Angie) Hallberg of Spring Lake. Great-grandchildren include David, Brittney, Sarah, Nathaniel, Jeanna, Brennan, Karlee, Alexa, Corey, Evan, Connor and Bryce; and great-great-grandchildren include Kaya, Carter, Abram, Rowan and Jonah.

Other survivors include his sisters Carol Hoos and Willadene (Robert) Ostrander of Muskegon and his brother Gary (Sherry) of Cortez, CO and many nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; his brother-in-law, Paul Hoos, and his parents.
