Robert C. “Bob” Hetrick, 75, of Braley Road, Russell, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2018 at Warren General Hospital. He was born on September 29, 1942, in Summerville, PA. , to the late Jacob B. and Grace E. McAninch Hetrick.

Bob was raised and educated in Summerville, PA, following high school he served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam Era. He worked as a welder for Jamestown Fabricated Steel, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Sugar Grove Amvets post #50 and the Youngsville American Legion Post# 658.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, shooting and trapping. Bob enjoyed trips to Colorado to see his children and grandsons. He enjoyed driving through the mountains.

He is survived by his son: Robert (Erik) Hetrick and his wife, Margo of Lobelville, TN. ; his daughter: Heidi Blashaw and her husband, Scott of Littleton, CO; his brother: Tom Hetrick of Summerville, PA and two grandsons: Andrew J. Blashaw and Seth D. Blashaw. Family and friends may call at McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services Inc., 117 Main Street, Sugar Grove, PA, on Tuesday from 2-3 PM.

A memorial service will be held there at 3 PM. Rev. Donald Ray, retired chaplain of UPMC Chautauqua WCA will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Carrier Cemetery, Summerville, PA.
