Obituary for Robert E. “Bob” Anderson Robert E. “Bob” Anderson, 86, of Anderson, passed away on July 14, 2018 at the St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. He was born on January 2, 1932 in Leiters Ford, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson. Bob graduated from Rochester High School in Rochester, IN.

He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and then served in the Army Reserves for four years. He worked for Delco Remy and retired after 33 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion.

Bob loved to fish, and was a huge supporter of the Animal Protection League and the Noblesville Humane Society. Bob is survived by his loving children, Teresa (Steve) Oldham of Anderson, Michael Anderson of Indianapolis, and Cheryl (Brian) Madison of Anderson; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren with one more on the way. Also surviving are his sisters, Tillie Becraft, Sue Grube, and Ann Reuter; and several nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife, Elsie (Mathias) Anderson; parents, Max and Leona Anderson; siblings, Betty Miller and Donald Anderson; and daughter-in-law, Heidi Anderson. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 9:30 am – 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN. Services will follow visitation at 11:30 am at the funeral home with Ned Clark officiating.

Burial will take place in the East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s charity of choice. www.
