Robert E. Bolenbaugh, 74, of Oaktown, Indiana, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Oak Village Health Care in Oaktown, Indiana. He was born n Sullivan, Indiana January 5, 1944 the son of John Leslie Bolenbaugh and Mildred Helen Robbins Bolenbaugh. Robert was an Army Reserve Veteran, the town superintendent of the water and sewer in Oaktown, a member of the French Club in Bicknell, Indiana and attended the Followers of Christ Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Allen Bolenbaugh. Survivors include three sons, Ryan Bolenbaugh (Mallory) of Iowa City, Iowa, Bradley Bolenbaugh (Shannon) of Vincennes, Indiana, and Brian Wilson (Amanda) of Monroe City, Indiana, two sisters, Janet Knotts (Wayne) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Mary Ann Bolenbaugh of Sullivan, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Wednesday April 25, 2018 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana with Rev.

Glen Archer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in New Lebanon.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday.
