Robert Eugene Powell, age 87, born on July 23, 1930 passed on June 5, 2018. He served in the Navy and Marine Corp. and was also a member of the American Legion Post #532 and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #11.

Robert will be remembered by many football players as “Coach”. Preceded in death by: mother, Peggy Levin; grandson, Davey Powell. Survived by wife, Janice Powell and children: David (Sue ) Powell, Cindy Powell-Pearson, Robert (Shelley) Powell; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister-in-laws Margie Perdue, Kathy Levin and Betty Powell; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may call 2-5pm Sunday, June 10 at Jerry Spears Funeral Home with Crematory, 2693 West Broad St, service will be held Monday, June 11 at 10am, interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
