Obituary for Robert English Robert Lawrence English, age 72, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his home. Mr. English’s remains will be cremated and a Memorial Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5-8pm in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield. Mr. English was born January 24, 1946 in Springfield to the late William and Anne Roe English.

He was an attorney in Springfield for many years, a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Springfield Baptist Church. In addition to his parents Mr. English is preceded in death by his brother, William English. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Chilcutt; nieces, Karen (Lee) Ferguson of White House and Lori Sowell of Springfield; and Special Friend, Karen Hamill of Springfield.
