Robert “Bob” F. Rose, 91, of Rockford passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Born May 11, 1927, in Edgerton, Wisconsin, the son of Clara Westcott and Charles Hewitt Rose. Married Jean R. Rose on March 15, 1952, in Loves Park, IL; she predeceased him in 2008.

He enjoyed his work as an Electrical Engineer at Dixon Automatic Tool for over 45 years; several of those years he spent as President of Rodix Inc., a division of Dixon’s. He was an excellent husband and father. One of his favorite accomplishments was attaining his Ham Radio license.

He enjoyed telling colorful stories of events in his life. Survivors include daughters, Shirley (Donald) Falk, Peggy (David) Lilligaard, Gayle Stickley, Connie (David) Robinson; granddaughters, Charlotte, Holly and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm with a Visitation from 12:00 noon until the service on Friday, October 26, 2018 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park, 61111.

Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
