Robert Franklin Miller, 78, of Westminster died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Dove House. Born on November 2, 1940, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late Naomi Erb Miller and Walter Miller Sr. Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sandra J. Miller. He was a Journeyman Plumber where he worked for Westminster Hardware and Supply and Southern Mechanical.

Bob was a member of First Church God and was a member of Westminster Fire Volunteer Department. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, playing cards, and family picnics and reunions. Besides his wife, he is survived by sister Nancy Horick, brother Larry G. Miller and wife Theresa and numerous nieces and nephews.

Also survived by devoted godchildren Rachel Walters, Jenna Goins, Whitney Dell and the light of his life Karleigh Marie Edwards. He was predeceased by brothers Walter Jr. and Roy Sonny Miller and sisters Shirley Warehime, Linda L. Knight, Patricia Crandall and Gloria Koontz. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Charles E. Barnhart officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Garden in Finksburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice 292 Stoner Ave.
