Mr. Posey passed from this life Saturday, January 5, 2019, at home, surrounded by family. A Native of Bedford County, Bob was born July 18, 1943, in Shelbyville.

He was one of five children born to the late Robert Fuston Posey, Sr. and Nola Maurine Johnson Posey. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his infant brother, Robert Lee Posey. He is survived by: children, Kathy (Russell) White of Unionville, Robert (Anita) Posey of San Francisco, CA, Matt Posey and Ashley (Tracy) Garrison both of Huntsville, AL; grandchild, Nicole (Larry) Skeeters of Wheel; 6 great grandchildren; siblings Donna Glosson, Curtis (Joyce) Posey both of Shelbyville, and Horton Posey of Lewisburg, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association @ www. heart.org or at 1818 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family.
