Ridge Spring-Funeral Service for Robert H. Cumbee, 96, will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Monday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Vollie Gibbs officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt.

Pleasant Baptist Church 164 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Ridge Spring, SC 29129.

Mr. Cumbee passed away Friday, January 25, 2019. Born in Ridge Spring, he was the son of the late Claude D. and Naomi Scott Cumbee. He was a member of Mt.

Pleasant Baptist Church, US Merchant Marine Veteran WW II, and retired as a building contractor. Surviving include his son, Michael (Janice) Cumbee; daughters, Judy Wagley and Sara Ann Barnhill; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth S. Cumbee; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Sara H. Cumbee; son, Randy Cumbee; and son-in-law, Mike Barnhill.
