Robert John Kemp, 72, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, May 20, 2019 at Wood Ridge Assisted Living in South Bend, IN. He was born on May 7, 1947 in Iowa City, IA, to John and Faye (Johnson) Kemp, both of whom preceded him in death. Robert is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Kemp; son, Robert Kemp, Jr.; and two sisters, Pat Ports of Columbus, OH, and Sharron Woodward of Washington, DC.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Kemp. Robert served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
