OBITUARY Robert Land February 14, 1927 – September 1, 2018 Robert “Lee” Land, age 91, of East Peoria, passed away Saturday, Sep. 1, 2018 at 10:55 p.m. at Aperion Care Morton Villa in Morton. He was born Feb.

14, 1927 in Hudson, IL to Omer and Beulah (Garrison) Land. He married Erma June Riley on June 20, 1953 in Peoria. She passed away Feb.

24, 2015 in East Peoria. He was also preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Faye Guzzo and Louise Waldsmith. Survivors include one son, Tim (Penny) Land of Morton, one granddaughter, Rachel Land of Peoria, and one brother, Omer (Donna) Land of Peoria.

Lee was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean War. Following his time in the military he was a local Truck Driver for Jones Motor for 29 years then later owned and operated L&J Carpet Cleaning for over 20 years. He was a member of Highview Church of God in Washington.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sep. 6, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Funeral services will be Friday, Sep.

7, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to Highview Church of God.
