Obituary for Robert Lee Elkins Mr. Robert Lee “Bob” “Red” Elkins, 80, of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis. He was born in Bedford on December 21, 1937 to the late John and Nora (Taylor) Elkins. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, June 28 at 1:30 pm with Gary Reichenbacker officiating.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 12 noon until time of service. He was a previous member of First Church of God.

He was a member of the American Legion and Eagles; and went to the Moose Lodge and Senior Citizen Center. Through the years, he was employed at Arvins, Amoco and Silgan. He is survived by his children, Sherry Bridgewater and Tracey (Gary) Reichenbacker; grandchildren, Bambi (Jason) Davis, Susan (Darrell) Russell, Bobby (Michelle) Bridgewater and Whitney Reichenbacker (Mike Viggiano); great-grandchildren, Sadie, Maddie, Kenzie, Isaiah, Aniya, Maya, Ceara, Kayden, McKena and Cate; brothers, John Elkins, Jack Elkins and Roe Elkins; and sisters, Linda Cox, Karen Merriman and Virginia Sowders.

He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Gregory Reichenbacker; brother, Bill Elkins; and sisters, Liz Wilson, Henrietta Fields and Rebecca Shoemaker.
