Robert Lewis Fox, age 84, a New Castle resident, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018. He was at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February, 1, 1934 in Richmond IN, a son of the late Lawrence Daniel and Margaret Elizabeth Isom Fox.

He was a New Castle resident most of his life and was a 1952 graduate of New Castle High School. He also attended Earlham College in Richmond, IN. Bob served… Read More » an enlistment with the U. S. Army, and had worked for Chrysler Corporation for several years.

Mr. Fox and his family had resided in San Antonio TX for a few years where he had worked in the restaurant business. He loved family activities and sharing time with his family and friends. Bob was an active member of Christ Fellowship Church and was a former member of New Castle Jaycees for several years.

Left to cherish his loving memory include his wife of 64 years Jeraldine “Jeri” Mundy Fox, children Angela Renee Fox, New Castle, Danita Fox, New Port News, VA, Vincent Adano Fox, New Castle, Dino Patrick (Debbie) Fox, San Antonio, TX, Delmarcus (Norma) Fox, San Antonio, TX, Robert Fox Jr. New Castle, also, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Richard Fox, New Castle, Lawrence (Patricia) Fox Jr., San Diego, CA, Gary Fox (Geneva), Bolton, MS, Howard (Lucy) Fox, Richmond, Donald (Cindy) Fox, New Castle, Mary Harrington, Anderson, Virginia Johnson, Muncie, and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Tony Fox, a brother Thomas D. Fox, and a sister-in-law, Eva Fox.
