Robert Elder Kellerstrass, 77, passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a long, courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease on October 7, 2018. Bob was born on October 3, 1941 lo Ernest “Kelly” and Jackie Kellerstrass. Bob attended Weber High School and the University of Utah where he was a record breaking track star.

He was married to the love of his life, Kaye Beus, and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS temple. On December 7th, they will have been married for 57 beautiful years. Bob was an active member of the LDS church.

He lovingly served the lord as a faithful home teacher, a bishop, in the stake presidency and on the high council. He served a stake service mission in West Ogden Stake with his wife Kaye. He loved every person he served with and made many lifelong friend.

Robert was a wonderful husband, loving father, caring grandfather, and a great friend to many. And he loved to drive the big 18 wheel semi-trucks, he began driving in 1956 and he retired from driving in 1988 and began his own brokerage company for Landstar trucking the same year. He worked there until he officially retired in 2005.

He is survived by his wife, Kaye Kellerstrass; two sons, Scott (Jennifer) Kellerstrass and Cary Kellerstrass; and one daughter, Angie Kellerstrass; eight grandchildren: Tyler, Katelynd (Kelly) Adams, Preston, Jason, Mitch, Cazley, Halle, and Beckham; and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Jack (Pamela) Kellerstrass, and sister, Sally (Jack) Frost. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jackie; his father, Ernest “Kelly”; and his brother, Gary Kellerstrass.

We are celebrating the beautiful life of Robert Elder Kellerstrass, Monday, October 15, 2018 11:00 AM at the Ogden West Stake Center 2200 S 4300 W., Ogden, Utah. There will be a viewing held Sunday, October 14, 2018 6:00 -8:00 PM and prior to the services 10:00-10:45 AM at the Stake center. Send condolences to the family at www.
