Anita May Wilson Lewis May 8, 1918 – September 30, 2018 Anita May Wilson Lewis, our loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away to her heavenly home Sunday, September 30, 2018. Anita was born on May 8, 1918 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ernest J. May and Mamie Bundy. She spent her childhood in Las Vegas, NV and St. George, UT.

She married Virgil S. Wilson on October 26, 1935 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. They moved to Roy, Utah in August of 1950, where she has resided since. Several years after the passing of Virgil, she was married Paige Lewis on August 5, 1981.

Anita was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers since 1958. She served on the International Board and received her 70-year pin. Anita work several years at the Ogden Lithograph Company and at Hill Air Force Base.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her Savior and enjoyed serving in many different callings. She loved serving at the Ogden Temple as an ordinance worker for five years.

She enjoyed gardening and loved to have a good yard, but her family was her life, and she spent her life serving them and many others. All those that ever met her, met the most loving and Christ-like person. She was the last living and eldest of her seven brothers and sisters.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband Virgil, her son Reed and her second husband, Paige. Anita is survived by her children Virgil Ray Wilson, Las Vegas, NV, Carol Ann Hull (Richard), Hooper, UT, and Susan Darlene Jarvis (Vince), Pahrump, NV. She has 11 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to express appreciation to all those that helped with the care of Anita and for the great, loving care they gave to Grandma. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West Roy, Utah, with a viewing prior to the services 9:00 – 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Roy City Cemetery.
