Clyde R Barker November 28, 1954 – November 28, 2018 Less than average life span – above average life I hate to say it, but if you are reading this apparently, I am gone. They said it would happen someday. On November 28, 1954 my parents, Ross James and Hazel Mae Adams Barker, welcomed me into our family.

I was raised in North Ogden, along with my three brothers, my whole life. I went to school there and graduated from Weber High in 1973. I went to Weber State College and ran track there for four years.

I married Colleen Armstrong December 14, 1974. From that marriage came three beautiful daughters, Heather, Healy, and Natalie. We were later divorced.

I started Barker Glass in 1996. It’s still going strong, so I must have done something right. I met my true love Jaymie, we were married July 14, 2000.

From that marriage I gained three sons, RyLee, Jayce, and Kade. Jaymie and I had lots of fun and adventures. We were partners in crime, life and business.

When you are enjoying the great outdoors and the beauty that God has created for us, think of me because that is where I will be. Cry for only a little while because I am gone, be happy that I was here. Clyde’s life took a sudden turn when he was diagnosed with a glioblastoma brain tumor.

He died peacefully at his home with his family surrounding him. Clyde is survived by his wife Jaymie Barker; his children Heather (Robert) Hansen, Healy Lyn (Michael) Rakestraw, Natalie (Lee) Harwood, RyLee (Natalee) Watson, Jayce Watson, and Kade (Anna) Watson; thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and his brothers Bill (Colleen) Barker, Lloyd (Shelley) Barker. Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald Barker, and his grandson Carter Clyde Bartlett.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Hub 801 located at 3525 Riverdale Road, Riverdale, Utah 84405. (Parking is west of the building) Memorial will be from 3-4 p.m. then a celebration of life from 4-6 p.m. We hope everyone can join us to honor this great man.
