Linda Louise (Courtney) Moody May 23, 1947 – November 20, 2018 Linda Louise Moody (Courtney) passed away November 20, 2018 surrounded by family and love. She was born May 23, 1947 to Ward Dexter Courtney and Murriel Cora Courtney (Mc Ilvain) in Ogden, Utah. Linda was the twelfth of twelve children and her many siblings and cousins made her young life fun and adventurous.

She attended Ogden City schools and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. On September 28, 1968 she married the love of her life Robert W. (Dutch) Moody. Everyone that knew Linda loved her, she was never one to temper her beliefs or love.

She would be the first person to tell you when you had done wrong and the first to help you fix it. She would do anything in her power to help anyone that needed it. Linda worked at a few jobs but none she loved more than the Shupe Press.

She started doing graphics layup/strip up and eventually managed the entire shop. She worked there for twenty-eight years and sadly had to leave when the shop closed, after her retirement she spent much of her time with her family and friends. Her family was everything to her and she enjoyed traveling with her siblings over most of the United States.

She always did her best to make everyone welcome in her home and most of the neighborhood kids would hang around her house. Linda leaves behind her sons, Karl Moody, Daniel (Jackie) Moody, Granddaughter Valerie (Jesse) Maughan, Grandson Sean Moody, and many, many siblings, nephews, nieces and friends. Linda wanted everyone to laugh, be happy, and enjoy each other.

Her only final wish was that everyone know how much she loved them. Cremation under the direction of Myers Ogden Mortuary.
