Todd Baird Farr West – Ronald Todd Baird, 55, passed away surrounded by loved ones on November 23, 2018. He was born on September 5, 1963 in Preston, Idaho to Ronald Willis Baird and Shirley Ann Spackman Baird. He graduated from Bonneville High School in 1982, where he participated in baseball and football.

He married Jennifer Greer on August 14, 1987. Todd enjoyed all sports. He was actively involved in the Western Boys Baseball Association (WBBA) serving on the Board of Directors and as the baseball director for Washington Terrace WBBA.

Todd spent countless hours at the park grooming the fields, keeping score and calling games. His greatest pleasure was coaching all his sons’ baseball and little league football teams. The family enjoyed making memories on the many baseball road trips that took them from Arizona to New York.

Todd was an avid golfer and made many friends on the course. Todd had a keen sense of humor and delighted in giving nick names, delivering one liners and playful teasing. He rarely missed an opportunity to engage in a good debate.

Todd is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his sons; Taylor (Jody) Baird, Parker Baird, and Carter Baird; and his grandson, Brooks. He is also survived by his siblings Debbie (Glade) Larsen, Melanie (Roderick) Fernandez, Tim (Melanie) Baird, Kim (Roxanne) Baird and his in-laws; Joanne Greer, Jeff (Laurie) Nicholas, Jeanette (Shane) Marberger, and Jason (Jodee) Greer. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Todd maintained his competitive, fighting spirit as he battled to overcome respiratory failure. The family wishes to thank McKay-Dee Hospital ICU staff for their care. Friends may visit family Friday, November 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.

and Saturday December 1 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the West Haven City Cemetery, 1550 South 2350 West. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to donate your time, res and talents to help others this holiday season.
