Rodger Kokensparger, 68, father to daughter Cindy, and son Ryan (Jenelle); Papa to Corey (Lydia), Ryle and Adelyn; great-papa to Luke Rodger, passed away on April 6, 2018 after a two year battle with cancer. Rodger was born September 19, 1949. He is preceded in death by his wife, of 41 years, Cathy; parents Robert and Joyce, and brothers Lenny and Jeff.

He is survived by brothers Richard (Ina) and John; sisters Bendy and Robin; sisters-in-law Barbara Kokensparger and Alice Havens; many… Read More » nieces and nephews, and girlfriend Beverly. Rodger was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. He worked and retired from UTMC as a manager in the facilities maintenance department.

After retiring he worked for Easter Seals and The Waterford Apartments. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11th at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Avenue from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. with United States Marine Corps Military Honors rendered at 7:00 p.m. Please leave online condolences for the family at walterfuneralhome.com or on our Facebook page.
