Rodolfo’s Obituary RODOLFO “RUDY” RENDON Rodolfo Rendon was born on March 14th, 1953 in San Benito, TX. He went to be with the Lord on May 22nd, 2019 in Garland, TX at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife, Josefa Zuniga Rendon and his two adult children, Juan Cristobal Rendon, daughter-in-law Nhung “Hani” Pham Rendon, Bianca Nicole Rendon Farrar, her husband David Burns and three grandchildren, Gabriel Farrar, Joshua Farrar, and Christoper Burns.

He is preceded in death by his parents Victor Rendon Sr., Gila Rendon, his brothers Victor Jr. and Reynoldo Rendon and his granddaughter Jocelyn Joy Pham Rendon. Rudy graduated from San Benito High School and went on to proudly served in the United States Army between 1973-1979, where he was stationed in Germany. He attended Texas Southmost College for accounting and Texas State Technical Institute where he began his profession as a computer technician.

Rudy met Josefa in 1976 in Harlingen, TX at Tex Steele Welding and married 2 years later on July 22, 1978. They’ve been together for 41 years. Rudy was the fourth of ten children.

He was the life of the party, always has a smile on his face and a funny story to tell. He cared a lot about his family and friends and would always help those in need. He was an awesome dad and supported his son and daughter in every way that he could.

Rudy was honest and told it like it was. He was an uncle full of love for his nieces and nephews, always concerned about what they were up to and making sure they stayed on the right path too. We will all miss Rudy and he will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held 6pm-9pm Wednesday May 29th, with a rosary service at 7:00PM 2019 at Williams Funeral Directors in Garland TX. Funeral services will be held 11am Thursday May 30th, 2019 at Good Shepherd Church in Garland, followed by burial at DFW National Cemetery at 2pm in Dallas. Reception to follow.
