Rodolfo Veliz Perez, 80, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019 in Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by her siblings Maria de los Angeles Sanchez, Leopoldo Veliz, Ramiro Veliz, Pedro Veliz, and Graciela Aguirre. Mr. Veliz is survived by his wife Maria Olga Hernandez Veliz; children, Rodolfo (Maria Elena) Veliz Jr., Maria (Lauro+) Soto, Maria del Carmen (Jose Eusebio) Contreras, Martha Olga (Guadalupe) Flores, Gregorio (Alma+) Veliz, Jose Feliciano (Isabel) Veliz, Gerardo (Francisca) Veliz and Laura Magdalena (Federico) Moreno.

He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. from Gamez Funeral Home and Cremations Services to Santo Niño Catholic Church where a mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Internment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
