Roger Lee Rowland, 72 of Amissville, VA passed away on September 7, 2018 at his home. He was born on October 8, 1945 in Fairfax, VA a son of the late Fred Lewis Rowland and Barbara Moore Rowland. Mr. Rowland worked as a carpenter.

He was a member of Amissville Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and baking. He is survived by his wife, Anita Rowland; his children, Natalie Colley, Sherri Addison and Terri Pennington; his siblings, Robert Rowland and Sheila Rowland; five grandchildren, Bobby Joe Pennington, III, Amy Lynn Hamm, Jessica Nadine Colley, Caitlin Renee Settle and Makaila Besth Colley; and eleven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, Sept.

10 from 7-9 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 11:00 AM at Amissville Baptist Church by Rev.

Pete Witkowski. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
