Ron Bruens, 65, husband of Sheryl Bier Bruens, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018. He was born in Sandusky, OH on October 10, 1952 to Margaret Hoerrle Deering of Ohio and the late Harmon Bruens. Ron was a facilities manager for Kentucky Equine Research.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Courtney Bruens of Lexington; his sister, Patricia Meese, OH; a brother, John Bruens, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
