Obituary for Ronald Benard Koster Ronald Benard Koster, 81, of Yonges Island, husband of Lee Todd Koster of 56 years, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, Charleston. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 5412 Hwy. 165, Hollywood on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 12 o’clock.

Funeral service will follow at 1 o’clock in the church. Interment will be at Christ St. Paul’s Church Cemetery, 4981 Chapel Road, Hollywood. Mr. Koster was born April 6, 1937, in Charleston, SC, son of the late William J. Koster, Sr. and Jewell Hall Koster.

Mr. Koster was a member of the Jaycees and he coached Little League Baseball. He was a Master Mason and member of the Mariner’s Lodge. He enjoyed off shore fishing and participated in the Governor’s Cup Tournament.

He served in the United States Navy and retired as an Inspector in Special Services for South Carolina Electric and Gas. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, Hollywood. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 5412 Hwy.

He is predeceased by seven brothers and sisters: Mae Blitch, Betty Lastras, Wilhelmina Hare, William Koster, Jr., John Koster and Burnet Koster.
