Ronald M. Harper, 71, of Rineyville, KY passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY. Mr. Harper was a retired from the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War and receiving two Purple Hearts. He had also worked for Civil Service, Fort Knox, KY.

Some of his memberships include: V.F.W. Post #10281, Vine Grove, KY, American Legion Post #113, Elizabethtown, KY, and D.A.V. Chapter 156, Radcliff, KY He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Jeannie Harper of Rineyville, KY; two sons, Chad Harper of Phoenix, AZ, Chris Harper of Brandenburg, KY; one granddaughter, Ashley McCarthy; one sister, Rhonda Morrow; and a host of family & friends. A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Mr. Harper to any favorite veterans charity.
