Ronald Hemauer, age 82, a resident of St. Germain since 1996 and formerly of Waukesha, WI, passed away on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI. Ronald was born in the Township of Black Wolf, WI on August 6, 1935 to Frank and Mildred (nee Stamm) Hemauer. He married his wife Donna (nee Badura) on August 17, 1957 in Milwaukee, WI.

In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, vegetable gardening, RV Camping, and wintering in Florida and Texas.

He was always willing to help those in need. Ronald was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Eagle River, WI. He served in the US Army as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean War.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Frank Hemauer and his devoted canine companions. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Donna Hemauer of St. Germain, WI; son: Randy (Janean) Hemauer of St. Germain, WI; daughter: Lesli Hemauer of Delafield, WI; grandchildren: Angela and Steven; great grandchildren: Mya and Damian; his sisters: Arlene (Donald) McCarthy of Ft. Collins, CO and Sharon (James) Kaczmarski of Dousman, WI; brother: John (Joyce) Hemauer of Lindenhurst, IL; brother-in-law: Gary (Kathleen) Badura of Waukesha, WI; sister-in-law: Shelby Hemauer of Waukesha, WI; aunt: Dorothy Hemauer of Chilton, WI; and he is further survived by nieces; nephews; other family; and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Eagle River, WI. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Eagle River, WI or the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated by the Hemauer family.
