Mr. Ronald Hugh Rogers age 66 of Smithville, passed away Monday morning May 28, 2018 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born May 30, 1951 in Livingston to his parents, the late Hugh Vane and Martha Ailene McAlpin Rogers. Mr. Rogers was the Assistant UT Extension Agent having worked with 4-H kids, Master Gardener Program, 4-H Congress, 4-H Chicken and Sheep Program, Regional and State competitions and various judging, worked 4-H camp each year, he was a member of the 911 board.

Ron was a faithful member of the Smithville Church of Christ having attended faithfully until his health kept him from being able to go. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda M. Rogers of Smithville. The arrangements for Mr. Ron Rogers are incomplete at this time and will be announced on Tuesday.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
