Ronald Hunker, 61, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 1, 2019 at Lincoln, NE. He was born May 6, 1957 at Falls City to Harvey and Capitola (Moyer) Hunker. Ronald was raised on a farm near Stella, NE, growing up with a love for farming and graduated Southeast Consolidated High School in 1975.

Following graduation he struck out on his own worked hard at different jobs including, farming with his dad and grandfather, working odd jobs and helping other farmers, in addition to raising livestock. In his life it always came back to dancing, drinking, singing and farming. In the last 15 years he developed health issues and had to give up a lot of the things he loved to do.

He occupied his time on his computer, driving around town on his electric chair and always found more pioneer things for his ever growing collection. In the last few months he developed cancer and lost his battle soon after. Ronald is survived by his siblings, Edward and Lisa Hunker both of Falls City, Brenda Tawzer and her husband Lane of Horton, KS, Vicky Kelly of Zephyrhills, FL, Beverly Hunker of Hiawatha, niece and nephew, Brandi Tawzer and Justin Tawzer and his wife Cara and a great nephew, Bow.

He was preceded in death by his parents. The family receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2018 from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. A private inurnment in Prairie Union Cemetery will take place at a later date.
