Ronald Robert “Ron” Rabenold, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the age of 83. He was born on June 13, 1935 in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to the late Clarence and Keturah Rabenold. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Lorraine Rabenold (nee Dunbar).

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Dixie Rabenold (nee Turner); son, Chris (Susan) Rabenold; son, Gregg (Sallee) Rabenold; step son, Robert Clay Gibbs III, and step daughter, Laura Lea Gibbs. Ronald was the proud… Read More » grandfather of 4 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren. Ron worked many years as a Research Chemist for The Ink Company.

He was a long-time member of Florence United Methodist Church and a past member of their Choir. Ron enjoyed music and playing the trumpet in the church band. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Florence United Methodist Church.

Stith Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Ron’s honor to Florence United Methodist Church 8585 Old Toll Road, Florence, KY 41042.
